Interested in Serving
Dear Potential Volunteer,
God created all of us to make a profound, lifelong, & eternal difference in others’ lives. Thank you for taking the first steps toward using your gifts & passions to serve kids. I am so excited to talk with you about what God is doing in your heart to lead you to serve the next generation!
Serving is really an incredible privilege. I believe that it’s through serving that we encounter a “bigger” Jesus. There’s an incredible paradox that exists in serving. It’s in giving up our life for Jesus that we find it [Matthew 10:39]. Jesus even said, “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work.” [John 4:34]. Somehow in the process of serving we are fed, come to know our Creator so much more, & are transformed far more than we ever give.
Here you can download our Volunteer Staff Application. The application is required for anyone who wants to serve in any capacity with minors. It is designed to protect the church, our ministry, you, & our kids. It also helps me get to know you more so together we can discern what role will be the best fit for you. Please fill out the application as soon as possible & send it back or bring it with you on Sunday. After you turn in the application we will find a time to meet. Ultimately I desire for you to be in a serving role that gives you life! Hopefully that’s enough info to help you move forward.
